Clackamas Education Service District's Curriculum, Instruction, and Evaluation team provides four core services: curriculum support, instructional leadership, evaluation of student achievement, and assessment resources.

Curriculum:

Curriculum articulates bold hopes for student achievement. It shines a light on what we expect students to know, understand, and do. Educators hope big, but it is hard to hone hope into a tool that is grounded and growth-oriented. Clackamas ESD will help teachers and administrators form professional learning communities, analyze data, set action-oriented goals, guarantee a standards-based core curriculum, and embrace research. Instruction:

Quality instruction is learning's engine. Fueling growth demands a rich mix of resources. Teachers and principals turn to us for help in understanding how to deliver the right instruction to the right students at the right time. Clackamas ESD will coach you through instructional technology, second language resources, behavioral interventions, solutions for at-risk populations, and school to career transitions. Assessment:

Assessment drives instruction, bringing about practical decisions in the classroom that will boost student achievement. Data generated outside your school is an inadequate tool for tracking growth and adjusting instruction, so we assist teams in assessment development. Evaluation:

Student achievement is our anchor. All schools in Clackamas County need direct access to student achievement, strong reporting tools, and scoring guide training. Our surveys, coaching, consulting, and locally tailored professional development help district leaders realize, and measure the success of their vision.
