Curriculum, Instruction, and Evaluation (CIE) ServicesThe Curriculum, Instruction and Evaluation Services Department supports Clackamas County educators' ongoing efforts to improve student learning and achievement. The department offers consultation and technical assistance services; data system support services; and communication and coordination services. The department also includes Instructional Media Services. Early Childhood Education ServicesClackamas ESD began providing services for young children with special needs in Clackamas County well in advance of state or federal legislative mandates. Services have been expanded and added with the continuing goal of working with families, local school districts, and other community programs to prepare young children with special learning needs to enter kindergarten ready to learn. Fiscal Services & OperationsFiscal Services performs and oversees all fiscal functions for the ESD, including budget development and preparation. Fiscal also oversees Operations and Printing. Human Resource ServicesHuman Resources is responsible for personnel management, substitute teacher registration, collective bargaining negotiations and employee contract management. The ESD employs approximately 400 employees. Network and Information ServicesThe Network and Information Services department provides many regional services that support the needs of local schools, district offices, and the ESD. Special Education ServicesSpecial Education Services include Child Evaluation and Service Center, Christie Education Program, LEEP, Medicaid Billing Consortium, Theraputic Schools, and the Transition Program. |
