Oregon Head Start Prekindergarten Program

Oregon Head Start Prekindergarten Program (OHSPP) aimed at serving families of young 3 and 4 year old children, with low income, living in Clackamas County.

It offers:

Enrollment in a Community Preschool
Help in receiving health services for young children
Help in receiving dental services for young children
A Home Visitor who will help the family with individual needs including finding other needed services, parenting education, and building on the family's strengths and values.
Family Involvement including in the preschool program, OHSPP activities, and in the family's home community.

The Clackamas County Children's Commission - Head Start and the Oregon Child Development Coalition also offer Head Start services in the county. These collaborating programs provide Head Start services using different models to best meet the needs of individual families.
